QUALITY FIREWOOD CHECKLIST ✔

Delivery fee and sales tax should be included in all firewood flate-rate prices. We do this so there is no confusion on our firewood listed prices. Most suppliers list low prices, but then at their checkout screen you get hit with huge delivery and sales tax fees, too confusing. ✔

A full-cord of firewood measures 4x4x8 (128 cubic feet). Many firewood suppliers don't give you this full metric amount, especially the "cheaper firewood deals", when buying from us, you get what you pay for. ✔

Seasoned firewood (ready to burn) shouldn't register more than 20% on a moisture meter. This means the chopped wood has been sitting for 8 to 14 months (unless KILN DRIED). Again, many cheap deals cut-corners on moisture levels, they are not fully seasoned, with us you get fully seasoned, 90% dry or higher. ✔

The standard lengths on each SEASONED firewood log is between 14" to 22" range (mixed sizes), and no chopped piece larger than 6 inches in diameter, our seasoned wood is always within these standard ranges. And our kiln is always cut to the expected 16" uniform cut size, great for stoves. ✔

All firewood needs to be hardwoods (typically a red/white Oak & Maple mix). ✔

Quality firewood should be very clean; with no mud, mold, rot, and no insects. You don't want to get stuck with dirty wood with insects in your lawn and/or garage. ✔

Customer service includes deliveries within 2 to 5 days (max), and driver being friendly & responsive to your drop site request. Also, when contacting the company they should respond within 1 to 15 minutes to answer your questions. We try to answer every call, but we do respond swiftly to all inquiries sent from our website. (note: easier for us to respond vs listening to voicemails). ✔

Consistency. The problem with the firewood industry is inconsistency, no worries with us...Consistency is Key! ✔
