We ALMOST NEVER have a refund request, our firewood is the most clean and perfectly seasoned at 95% dry, and our wood is chopped to correct sizes. Our drivers our extremely polite, knowledgeable, and helpful to our customers. But, in the event you made a wrong purchase order and our drivers have already dropped the wood at your house/property...
ALL REFUNDS WILL INCUR A $250 pickup, restocking, and admin processing fee.
Read below, we explain why, and we also offer you more favorable options in the event you want/need a refund.
You can cancel order anytime PRIOR to our drivers loading their truck with your very heavy product (firewood is 2nd most heaviest consumer retail product delivered, only steel is heavier.) You have about 24 hours after purchase, then you order is processed and put on delivery truck.
So please keep that in mind when in any event you want the wood picked up and refunded. Again, this virtually never happens with us, our wood is top quality and correct amounts every time.
With that said, we do charge a $250 deduction on any refund you request and we will honor your request if its that critical you get your partial refund money returned (takes 5 to 7 days to hit your account).
We have several other options to work with you, such as giving discounts of 20% off your next purchase, or we can throw in a free 50pound box of kiln dried wood, if something truly went wrong with your order, and its our fault.
Also note, the $250 deduction comes off of any full or half cord order, regardless of what you paid, we need to pay for delivery pickup again, and restock after it already was put on truck for delivery, and especially after it has already been dropped at your residents.
The $250 refund fee covers the delivery personal cost to us (their two trips each way loading and unloading, twice, they get paid regardless. And, it also cost us additional $40 to $60 in the refund transactions fees (3% of total, for each of the two transactions (it truly is a headache to deal with a refund), this is why we have our quality checklist.
So, please make sure you are purchasing the correct firewood, seasoned or kiln, and make sure the sizes work for your fireplace and/or wood stove.
*ALSO NOTE: we, we only stack upon scheduled request, and that is $50 half cord, $100 full cord extra fee, if you choose.
But always ask first, before ordering, we cant always stack (even with extra fee), our drivers are very busy during winter months. We recommend you ask a neighbor if their teenager son/daughter can stack for $25.
